Military Police teach critical security skills to military police and embassy guards

Dili, East Timor - Corporal Preston Carmichael, military police detachment, instructs the policia military (military police) from the Timor Leste Defense Force during personal security detachment training at Tasi Tolu, Timor Leste, Oct. 15. The military police from Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, were conducting the training during Exercise Crocodilo 2012. The MEU and the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group were in the country conducting the exercise to promote interoperability and cooperation between the participating forces, providing the opportunity to exchange knowledge and learn from each other, as well as to establish personal and professional relationships. Marines and sailors of the 15th MEU and the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group are conducting military training with the Timor-Leste Defense Forces and assisting in humanitarian efforts to improve the medical and dental health of the local population.
