Aviation support equipment technician 2nd Class Juan A. Diaz, USS Peleliu, sings a song with members of his Capoeira class in the ship's hangar bay, Dec. 6. Capoeira is a form of dancing and martial arts, and the classes are taught to give Marines and sailors a way to decompress in their off-time. The 15th MEU is deployed as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group as a U.S. Central Command theater reserve force, providing support for maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
