150622-M-SV584-002 ARABIAN SEA (June 22, 2015) U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Blake Tickle sands rust off a crane during daily maintenance aboard the USS Essex (LHD 2). Tickle is a ground-support equipment mechanic with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. When equipment starts to rust, the Marines and Sailors sand and repaint it to keep it in the best condition possible. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
