Soldiers from the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force run out from a CH-46 Sea Knight during a training exercise at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 1. The training event was part of Exercise Iron Fist 2012, a bilateral training exercise between the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and the JGSDF. The exercise encompassed all aspects of the Marine Air Ground Task Force during the amphibious landing on San Clemente Island provided the Navy/Marine Corps team an opportunity to practice their craft.
