Sergeant Nathan E. Moser, joint terminal attack controller, 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company Detachment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, establishes communications with aircraft, which will provide close air support and surveillance of the objective for the raid the unit’s Maritime Raid Force is conducting in the Chocolate Mountains, Calif., May 15. The mission was to capture a high-value individual who was reported to be a key leader of a local terrorist organization during the ground portion of Realistic Urban Training. Moser, 23, is from Chesterfield, Va.
