Major Keith Kovats, communications officer, receives the Meritorious Service Medal from Col. Scott D. Campbell, commanding officer, both with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, during an awards ceremony held at the Pacific View Events Center on Camp Pendleton, Calif., on June 19.
