A U.S. Marine with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force fast-ropes aboard the USS Essex (LHD 2) in the South China Sea, June 11, 2015. This technique gives the MRF the ability to quickly insert onto an objective, whether they are landing on a ship or on top of a building.
