ARABIAN SEA (June 23, 2015) U.S. Marine Sgt. Jesse Kimble practices climbing a caving ladder aboard the USS Essex (LHD 2). Kimble is a member of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force. This skill is important for the Marines, who may need to climb onto a ship or hovering aircraft during training or operations. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
