INDIAN OCEAN (July 19, 2015) A U.S. Marine with the “Greyhawks” of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, overlooks the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) as they depart the ship in an MV-22B Osprey. The Marines are preparing to support President Barrack Obama’s visit to Kenya. The “Greyhawks” are the aviation combat element of the 15th MEU which is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
