GULF OF ADEN (Aug. 29, 2015) U.S. Marines and Sailors from the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Essex Amphibious Ready Group fill their plates with food at a steel beach picnic aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23). Elements of the 15th MEU are embarked aboard the Anchorage, which is part of the ESX ARG, and is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
