ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 29, 2015) A UH-60 Black Hawk with 185th Theater Aviation Brigade departs the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). These Soldiers practiced landing and departing from the Essex in order to familiarize themselves with flight operations aboard a ship. The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked aboard the ships of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
