MARINE CORPS BASE, CAMP PENDLETON,Calif. – Col. Vance L. Cryer, the commanding officer of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit for nearly two years, relinquishes command of the unit to Col. James P. Fallon, who previously was the MEU’s executive officer during a change of command ceremony on Camp Pendleton April 22, 2016. During the ceremony Cryer relinquished command of the unit to Col. James P. Fallon, who previously was the MEU’s executive officer. Cryer led the unit for nearly two years, including a deployment to the Middle East and Western Pacific. (Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
