MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Marines with the 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit drive an amphibious assault vehicle during PHIBRON-MEU integration training at Camp Pendleton, April 13, 2017. This first at-sea exercise provides the Marines the opportunity to practice integrating with their Navy counterparts to form an efficient team capable of accomplishing a range of missions around the globe. This Navy-Marine Corps team supports combatant commanders in maintaining regional maritime security and stability while providing offshore options to deter, influence and win in an era of uncertainty.
