CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (Apr. 11, 2006) -- Marines from 5th Battalion 11th Marine Regiment were tasked with providing security and processing American citizens during the Non-combatant Evacuation Operation Exercise at the 52 area combat town here. 5/11 participated in the NEO in support of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit during its MEUEX. MEUEX is a series of exercises designed to prepare the 15th MEU for the planned deployment this fall.
