A Combat SkySat communication system floats towards Earth’s stratosphere during 15th MEU’s test of the system aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 29. The SkySat system is used to retransmit UHF signals to increases the range of communication up to 600 miles in diameter and expands the capabilities of the Marine Air Ground Task Force.
