Lance Cpl. Matthew J. French, military police, Military Police Detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, searches Lance Cpl. Rafael Montalvo, a role player acting as an American citizen, for dangerous items during a non-combatant evacuation operation training, here, April 11. The NEO was the final training evolution during MEU Exercise, held April 2-12, to train the major subordinate elements of the 15th MEU to operate as a Marine Air Ground Task Force. Montalvo, 22, is a native of Yorkville, Ill., and serves as an asset manager with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364, 15th MEU. French, 20, is a native of Antioch, Ill.
