Corporal Derrick M. Sikes, radio operator, Command Element, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is presented the Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal during an award ceremony on the flight deck of the USS Peleliu, Sept 23. The MEU is currently embarked about the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group for a Western Pacific deployment. Sikes, 22, is from Nashville, Tenn.
