An embassy guard practices restraining techniques on Cpl. Justin Dryer, military police detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, at the embassy in Dili, Timor Leste Oct 13. The MEU and the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group were in the country conducting Exercise Crocodilo 12 to promote interoperability and cooperation between the participating forces, providing the opportunity to exchange knowledge and learn from each other, as well as to establish personal and professional relationships. Marines and sailors of the 15th MEU and the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group are conducting military training with the Timor-Leste Defense Forces and assisting in humanitarian efforts to improve the medical and dental health of the local population. Dryer, 22 is from Lancaster, Calif.
